Whether it was a frosty November morning in the woods or an April opener with steam rising off a pristine Trout stream when you were blessed with that trophy of a life time, a moment in time is one thing we can never get back. But, at Weick’s Taxidermy we strive to recreate that memorable moment to outlast one’s fading memory. Not all Taxidermy is created equal. Terry Weick has proven himself not only as one of the nation’s top competitor’s, but also as a qualified teacher to inform the public about artistic merit and quality craftsmanship in the art of Taxidermy. With 30 years of experience, and approaching 20 years as a member of the Michigan Taxidermist Association, Terry has succeeded in all phases of the art. During the 2008 Michigan Taxidermist Convention, Terry was honored with the Distinguished Service Award “in recognition of outstanding contributions toward professionalism, education and the advancement of the Art of Taxidermy”. A one time visit to Weick’s Taxidermy Gallery will be time well spent viewing the many dioramas and displays filling his 1000 sq. ft. showroom.
